We are stumbling distance away from Amberley train station, which has direct lines to and from London and many other cities.
If you are travelling from the North, on the A24, turn right at the Washington roundabout and follow the A283 for approximately 10 minutes, passing through the lovely village of Storrington. Once through the village, turn left at the mini-roundabout by the garage, onto the B2139 (Amberley Road). Carry on along this long winding road until you see Amberley Museum on the left, and 100 yards later, after passing under the low bridge, you will find Flint Cottage on the right hand side.
If you are coming from the West on the A27, take the first exit at the Fontwell roundabout and progress on the A27 to the next roundabout and take the first left. You will stay on the A29 for approximately 10 minutes, passing through Slindon, and progress to the next roundabout and take the second exit (B2139). Make sure you take in the magical views at this point - the rolling hills have been named the by many as The Best Views In Sussex! Continue on this road, passing the George and `Dragon pub. Once you go over Houghton Bridge, the cottage is on the left.
